Hide White Space for More Screen Space
You can save screen space in Print Layout view by
hiding the white space (headers and footers) on the top and
bottom of each page and the gray space between pages. To
hide white space, move the insertion point to the top or
bottom of the page and click the Hide White Space
button.
Editor's Note:
You can hide white space by default by clicking Options
on the Tools menu, and then clearing the White
space between pages check box on the View tab.
