Smart Tags Bring Outlook Features to Word
You
can use Microsoft Word smart tags to update your Microsoft
Outlook® Address Book and more.
When you type a person's name, Word 2002 recognizes it and
marks it with a smart tag indicator. When you click the
Smart Tag Actions button, a list of several possible
actions appears. For example, you can choose to add the
person to your Outlook Contacts list, send an e-mail
message, or schedule a meeting.
Editor's Note:
To turn this feature on or off, on the Tools menu,
click AutoCorrect Options, then click the Smart
Tags tab, and select or clear the Person names
(English).
